Andhra Pradesh govt ban online gaming, asked central to block access to 132 apps, website

The State Andhra Pradesh in India has banned the apps and website used to promoting online gaming, online gambling in India.

Govt Andhra Pradesh requested the central government to direct block all internet access to 132 apps and websites in India including Paytm First Game and Mobile Premium League and Adda52 that are asked some gambling money.

If we recall, Google ban for 24 hours the Paytm and Paytm First Game in the month of September, Both apps caught in gambling promotion and asked users to put money in the online betting within the app.

The Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in a letter to IT and Telecom Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad on October 27 raised concern over illegal online gaming and online betting fast catching up social youth involved in their services offered within the app and website through their mobile phones and computers.

Chief said that several youths get involved every day that betting and gaming have led to widespread despair amongst the public suicided due to losing money, severe addiction consequent violent behavior in case of any restriction.

He said that under the new act, those assisting the operation of online gaming and online gambling are liable for punishement and role of internet service providers can be termed as assisting these firms in case they do not take steps to block access of concerned websites and apps.
