Google’s Android 12 final rollout in a week ago: Android 12 Beta 5

Google began rolling the final Android 12 beta 5 to all supported Pixel devices such as Pixel 5, Pixel 5a, Pixel 4a, Pixel 4 XL, and Pixel 3 series today.

The Android 12 final build would arrive in the next week. The first Google flagship Pixel 6 & Pixel 6 Pro would be the only first smartphone that comes with the official build of Android 12 OS.

Google Clock 7.0 Material You redesign

Google clock app version 7.0 is now receiving Android 12 supported Material design redesign. In the screenshot below, The Google clock now has a larger bubble for cards for alarm and clock display.

The timer UI has been itself redesign with Material You redesign with a one-handed design with all interactive elements that have been moved down to the page.

Android 12 Lock screen gets Device Control shortcut:

The redesign of the Android 12’s lock screen will now come accessible straight from the lock screen to get a quick access wallet, Google Pay, the quick setting for Android 12.

Pixel launcher gets a faster search bar feature:

The Pixel launcher has now support for faster search in the Pixel launcher introduced in the Android 12 Beta 5. The faster search feature will work in Android 12 only.

Google Calculate 8.0 Material You UI redesign

Google Calculate 8.0 also updated in the Android 12 Beta 5 too, brings a Material You redesign as shown in the screenshot shared by Xda developers.

Live Space replacement in place of “At the Glance”

Google now introduced a new “Live Spaces” feature in the Android 12 Beta 5. The new panel will be able to display new information regarding the Google services and Google apps.
