Apple A15 Bionic chipset may use TSMC’s N5P node

Apple announced the Apple iPhone 12 series worldwide with the oldest iPhone 4 design with a modern Face ID feature powered by the world’s fastest Apple A14 Bionic chipset manufactured on 5nm architecture.

The next Apple chip called the A15 Bionic will be manufacturing using the N5P node by semiconductor maker TSMC. The N5P node is one of the three 5nm nodes under development by the Taiwan-based manufacturer.

The Apple A15 Bionic chip is set to power the iPhone 12 series of smartphones. The new chip will go into mass production by Q3 2021. Apple has got the TSMC’s facilities booked for the production of the 5nm chips.

A new report claims that the tech giant is also reportedly planning to unveil a new entry-level AirPods and an upgraded AirPods Pro next year. Apple AirTags move to the next year 2021. Apple claims the entry-level AirPods would feature a similar design to the most recent AirPods Pro.
