MacRumors reported today, the Apple iOS 14.2 update seems to have a serious power consumptions in compared to last iOS 14.1 update such as increase power consumption in standby mode and slow charging.
A larger numbers of problems users were commented on the Apple Developer Forum and Reddit about this problem. Apple acknowledged this issue, promise to deliver update in coming weeks.
The affected iPhone and iPad newer and older models such as iPhone XS, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone SE first generation and newer models such as iPhone 12, Mini, Pro and 12 Pro Max.
Some users have reported that iPhone 12 models now consume more than 50% of the power with an half an hours after the fully charge and even lose 5% within a minute.
Apple pushed the official version of iOS 14.2/ iPadOS 14.2 on November 6 and then release the official version iOS 14.2.1 again on November 20.
