OPPO ColorOS 12 may contain elements of OxygenOS and MIUI elements

The OPPO confirmed that officially merge of OnePlus collaboration into a whole big company for globally and Chinese smartphones business.

A well knows tipster confirms that the upcoming version of OPPO ColorOS 12 based on Android 12 has adopted the new elements brings from OxygenOS 11 and few elements of MIUI a new system-lever UI Design, icons.

This information comes out from the internal beta testing team working on ColorOS 12. According to the company CEO, the OPPO and OnePlus had announced the merge in the last month, the company also suggested that the developer team will now fully comply with integrating OPPO’S ColorOS with OxygenOS.

This will save time for providing faster updates to all OPPO and OnePlus devices in the future. Yesterday, OnePlus confirmed that starting from the OnePlus 8 series or newer will get three years of Android Security Updates and 2 years of Security Patch.

For Nord series, It will get two years of Android OS and one year of security patches. In global, OnePlus phones will use OxygenOS but the company confirmed that they will share the same common software code base similar to OxygenOS.

Since OxygenOS 11 announced the company struggled a lot in terms of providing bug-free updates on time. If we look into the OnePlus 9 Series launched earlier in Q2, 2021 will have full of poor camera optimization and a lot of system UI bugs.
