Google has mostly choose named of their Android version based on the dessert naming scheme. We have the list of all the Android version history list naming up to Android 12.

According to commit on AOSP Gerrit, spotted by @_cdsai, Google has decided that the next version of Android, Android 13 will be called Tiramisu.
PLATFORM_VERSION_CODENAME is being updated from T to Tiramisu.
Google used to call Android version with a dessert name and the Tradition was around for about a decade. These dessert codenames are still used internally. However, Android 10 was Quince Test, Android 11 was Red Velvet Cake and Android 12 is Snow Cone.
