India records COVID-19 lowest 12,899 new cases

The latest report came out from Union Ministry of Health Services data has confirmed that India records 12,899 new cases on COVID-19 testing positive for coronavirus infection.

The total number of cases closed to 1,07,183 with recoveries closed to 1,04,80,455. The death data increased to 1,54,703 with less than 107 new fatalities as per the data updates at 8 am.

The number of total COVID-19 active cases in India remained below 2 Lakh. The India’s coronavirus (COVID-19) recovery rate 97.13 per-cent and COVID-19 cases fatality rate stands at 1.43 per cent.

According to the ICMR, 19.92.019 samples have been tested up to February 3 with 7,42,841 samples being tested on Wednesday. The new 107 new fatalities include 30 from Maharashtra, 20 from Kerala, 7 each from Chhattisgarh and West Bengal and 6 each from Delhi and Uttar Pradesh.

Before, COVID-19 cases has crossed the 20 lakh mark on August 7, 2020, 30 lakh on August 30 and 50 lakh cases in India.
