The government wants to regulate the online fantasy sports sector in India. As per a majority of Indians wants the government to create a code of regulation for the online fantasy sports sector.

The report said that the majority – 54% of citizens said that their platform’s, “should not be permitted to show advertisements at all, while 10% said. “can’t say”.

An online community platform LocalCircles survey told about around 68 percent of citizens that they want the government to regulate.

Every day reports arrived in India, Most of people’s lost their money after playing the several hours of playing a game such as addiction. The 49 percent supported self-regulator for the sector, 34% want to government to act as a regulator.

The survey received more than 50,000 responses from the 21,000 unique citizens located in 309 districts in India. 47% of respondents were from tier 1 districts, 29% from ties 2 districts, and 24% were located in tier 3,4 of India.

Citizens also said that online fantasy sports platforms gaming advertising should be more responsible to explained their platform’s rules and regulations for children.

Only 12% said it can be classified as “skill gaming”, whereas the main of 67%. If such games can be classified as skill gaming or gambling.
