India’s ban on Chinese App create a setback to global Chinese Tech Investors

The Indian government made a huge decision to ban over 59 Chinese apps include TikTok Short Video Platform may impact their business as global Chinese tech investors to invest in the Indian market startups.

The ban include major apps from some of the largest Chinese technology companies including Alibaba, ByeteDance, Baidu, Tencent, Xiaomi, YY Inc and Lenovo which have been build up a huge millions of users in India.

The no global competitors due to the great Chinese firewall along many of these companies is cried over its own censorship ruled by China communist party. They have used these funds to expand globally either through investments or direct operations.

The government has invoked its power under section 69A of the Information Technology Act read with the relevant provision of the Information Technology ( Procedure and Safeguards for Blocking of Access of Information by Public ) Rules 2009.
