Apple iPhone 13 series rumored to come with LiDAR sensors

Apple is planning to launch the iPhone 13 series lineup in the month of September next year and a new report has claimed that all the iPhone 13 series models are expected to be equipped with LiDAR sensors.

Unlike this year, Apple iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max were only two phones are having LiDAR scanner. In real world, we never used futurist tech like LiDAR in our everyday lifestyle.

The iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max only uses a time-of-flight TOF LIDAR sensor. The LiDAR technology helps improve AR experience by enabling apps to more quickly see.

LiDAR scanner means users can experience AR like never before and also offers benefits to the camera with faster autofocus. These sensors will be provided by a US- based company called II-VI.

As per reports that, The Apple iPhone 13 lineup may uses the iPhone 13 with a 5.4-inch iPhone 13 Mini, 6.1-inch iPhone 13, 13 Pro and 6.7-inch iPhone 13 Pro Max. There will be third camera sensor in 13 Pro with telephoto lens.

The Apple iPhone 13 equipped with Apple world faster chipset 5nm chipset A15 may feature Wi-Fi 6E features capabilities including higher performance, lower latency and faster data rates.
