Reliance Industries launched JioMeet a secure cloud based video conferencing app developed by young developers in Jio Team. Jio Meet will be direct competitor to Google Meet, Zoom meeting and Microsoft Teams paid conferencing app. JioMeet a video cloud based conferencing app will be free for all users in India.
JioMeet video conferencing app is available across Android, iOS, Windows and macOS and desktop. In the 43rd Reliance AGM ( Annual General Meeting ) held today at 2PM virtually on JioMeet, Mukesh Ambani said JioMeet has seen 5 millions downloads by users within days of its launch.
According to the company , JioMeet supports HD audio and video call quality with up 100 participants and offers features like screen sharing and meeting schedule feature among others.
Unlike Zoom, it doesn not impose, a 40-minute time limit in free users. Zoom calls can go as long as 24 hours and all meeting are encrypted and password protected will be availble only for premium users only.
Jiomeet uses similar interface just like Zoom meeting. People’s never find any difficulty to move into JioMeet. JioMeet declare direct war against Zoom and Google Meet.
