MediaTek introduced the latest 5G chip Skyx 800U powerhouse chipset

MediaTek has launched its latest 5G SoC named as the Sky800U Series, the Skyx 800U uses an advanced 7nm process, multicore architecture supports 5G plus 5G dual-card dual drive technology and helps accelerate 5G adoption.

The Skyx 800U integrates 5G modems to fully support stand-alone ( SA) and non independent ( NSA) network in the Sub-6GHz brand but also supports cutting-edge 5g technologies such as 5G-5G dual card, dual-VoNR voice services and 5G dual-carrier aggregation gives users faster and more stable 5G connectivity.

The Skyx 800U supports MediaTek 5G UltraSave power saving technology, dynamically adjusting the modem’s operating adjusting the modem’s operating mode to dynamically adjust the network environment and data transmission enabling the terminal to provide users with a more durable 5G battery life.

The MediaTek 800U uses a 7nm process to help the processor take full advantage of its performance while reducing power consumption. The Skyx 800U’s CPU features an eight-core architecture design including two ARM Cortex-A76 cores with up to 2.4GHz main frequencies and siz 2.0GHz main-frequency ARM Cortex-A55 energy efficient cores.

It supports FHD+ 120HZ screen refresh rate for fast, smooth game playback and streaming, HDR10 plus standards and supports a variety of video HDR optimization feature with images quality beyond HDR10 plus with MediaTek MiraVision image Quality Engine.

The MediaTek Sky’800U which supports flexible camera configuration up to 64MP megapixel cameras and four-camera combination. It has voice wake-up ( VOW ) and dual-microphone noise reduction technology reduce power for voice assistants.
