Microsoft pushed first preview build 22000.51 of Windows 11 to Dev Channel officially available to supported hardware.
Windows 11 Insider program is now officially supported with Intel, AMD and ARM ( Snapdragon) processor in the Windows Dev Channel.
A Developer Gustave Monce has succesfully to compile an ARM build of Windows 11 using the UUP images and sucessfully installed the operating system on his a Microsoft Lumai 950 XL, a device that was released in 2015 with Windows 10 mobile.
Microsoft Lumia 950 XL will able to intact with Start Menu, animations as respends well to the smaller form factor, you can see in the images. It needs more work to be done.
The developer has also managed to enable cellular connectivity in Windows 11 by manually porting drives from Windows 10 Mobile and Windows 10 on the ARM projects.
Windows 11 comes with a dedicated setting to manage cellular connectivity on Snapdragon-powered always-connected PCs, but it also works on Windows Phones.
The official documentation has confirmed the operating system works on a device with 9-inch display only. it’s an impressive that proves how microsoft will optimizated and well designed this operating system can still run new operating system.
Some reports suggesting rollout could happen as early as October 20. Currently, The first preview build 22000.51 of Windows 11 is now rolling out to Dev Channel. It has many issues. We suggest you try Choose Beta Channel for more stability.
