Microsoft unveiled Windows 11 has shown off a lot of new improvements, OS with new floating UI elements, rounded corners, Amazon Android App store.
Microsoft designed the Windows 11 from scratch after six years. Everyone’s talked about the Window 11 Insider Preview to get’s hands-on Windows PC. The company also posted the minimum system requirements for the Intel & AMD supported processors lists need to have some basic requirements to install the latest Windows 11 OS in your PC.
The company is making tight security requirements like security safeguards such as TPM 2.0 necessary for most of users to upgrade from Windows 10. TPM 1.2 need to verify the TPM requires to verify the hardware is original and verify for proper installation.
Here a catch, – a lot of users used working pc and gaming pc with custom desktop setup. Some Microsoft hardware partners don’t have TPM chips included in their hardware and This will result in getting the error “This PC can’t run Windows 11”.
According to the Microsoft Windows specification guide, TPM 2.0 is required at a minimum are TPM 1.2, 4GB of RAM, and a 64-bit dual-core CPU with a clock speed of 1Ghz.
Microsoft will prefer the TPM 2.0 as a minimum requirement. The company confirmed minimum requirements are:
- 1 GHz or faster cores
- 64 bit processor
- RAM : 4GB
- Storage : 64 GB
- System Firmware : Trusted Platform Module ( TPM) version 2
- Direct X 12 or later
Earlier, Most of the users having custom Desktop hardware that doesn’t have any TPM in the hardware. Microsoft PC Health Check will consider a flag system not ready for Windows 11 upgrade due to TPM, check issues.
