Punjab restrict travel entering without Covid-19 and Vaccination Certification

Punjab government announce the impose restriction on entering people while traveling from outside states without COVID-19 negative report.

The Punjab government set new guidelines to fight back the spread of the virus, the state government said that all non-essential shops would be closed till May 15. Government-issued a statement on Monday that no one will be allowed to enter the state without a negative Covid-19 test result or a vaccine certificate.

Everyday, “The daily night curfew from 6 pm to 5 am and a weekend curfew from 6 PM on Friday till 5 am on Monday will be done RT-PCR testing of road and streetwise vendors.

In the last 24 hours, Punjab reported 7,327 fresh COVID-19 cases, 5,244 discharges, and 157 deaths, the state health department. There are still currently 60,108 active cases.

Centre Government confirmed that Private hospitals will have to route their requirements wouldn’t be able to get Remdesivir and Tocilizumab required for COVID-19 treatment directly from manufactures.

The supplies of both covid-19 drugs are directly procured by each state government on the basis of allocation by the Centre. There are no direct supplies made to anyone including private hospitals.

The allocation of Oxygen supplies is based on the number of active cases and a number of patients.
