Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus mobile platform with 3GHz speed surface in benchmark

Taiwanese based on Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus is said to be gearing up the launch of the upgraded model of the Snapdragon 888 Plus mobile platform. An upgrade to the previous flagship Snapdragon 888 that was introduced back in December last year.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus reference device has surfaced in the Geekbench listing since it shows 6GB of RAM and it might also 8GB of RAM. It runs on Android 11 OS. The hardware specifications reveal Prime CPU core clocked at up to 3.0GHz while retaining a 3x Performance CPU is up to 2.4Ghz.

The efficiency more than the Snapdragon 865 to 865+ it was 2.84Ghz to 3.1Ghz and for the Snapdragon 888 870 and it jumped to 3.2GHz.

The newly improved Andreno 660 GPU in the Snapdragon 888 is clocked to 840Mhz but the frequency of the Snapdragon 888 Plus is not known yet. It’s not clear yet the company will deal with the thermal issues complained by users of previous Snapdragon 888 – powered Snapdragon.

This is expected to be introduced sometime in July which is similar to the Snapdragon 865 Plus launch later last year.
