Qualcomm to expand 5G support to Snapdragon 4xx Series in early 2021

In IFA 2020 event, Qualcomm has been pushing 5G connectivity capabilities to its latest generation of Snapdragon series processors in the past year. The latest to join in the family of 5G capable chip set announced is the Snapdragon 4xx Series SoC which mentioned to launch in the Q1 2021.

The max production will starts in the month of December later this year by some Chinese brands like Motorola, OPPO , Xiaomi, OnePlus, Realme to being development of 5G capable smartphones powered by the Snapdragon 4xx series SoC in early 2021.

At this moment, 5G networks are supported on 6 of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon platforms namely the Snapdragon 865 Plus, Snapdragon 865, Snapdragon 855, Snapdragon 768G, Snapdragon 765, 765G and Snapdragon 600 Series. The new support announced to the Snapdragon 4xx SoCs will enable a lot more budget-focused consumers to experience fast 5G networks.
