Samsung, OnePlus SmartTv’s said to be manufacture in India

Samsung and OnePlus aim to start manufacture their SmartTv’s in India starting next month. OnePlus wants to enter in the budget affordable Smart Tv’s pricing range in India under 20,000 . The company sends media invite to launch 32-inch Smart Tv’s and 43-inch Tv on July 2 in India.

During the COVID-19 situation, Country faced lock down with some restrictions applied to industries with all safety precautions on their health workers. The Smart TV’s imported from China being added import taxes, GST prices . Company wants to get rid of them and they wants to manufacture Smart TV’s under “Make in India” scheme issued by Indian Government.

They want more than 70% components should be made in India to maintain supply chain. As per report shared by ET, Only Samsung will now manufacture 80-90% of the television in India and sold them to other countries. New report says One Plus wants to following similar track of local manufacture soon in the Noida factory for upcoming Smart Tv’s brand in India.

The companies like LG, Sony, Panasonic and Xiaomi are already making their TVs in India. The none of the companies will faced any issue in local manufactures over years. We will see more Chinese brands like Realme , Vivo, OPPO, Vu will soon join the local manufacturing of Smart Tvs in India.

The Skyworth will now take over manufacturing duties for the 32″-inch and 43-inch models in the India soon. It will also offer to boost the PM Narendra Modi slogan “Atmanirbhar Bharat ( Self-reliant India ) .
