What is MWC ( Mobile World Congres)?


Major Smartphone and Tech industry event organized every year in Spain city of Barcelona to showcase future technology or upcoming developments in its product related to the smartphone world and technology equipment innovation. Many companies have decided to withdraw from or limit their availability at MWC 2020, slated to begin February 24.

The GSMA will conduct temperature screening on anyone who enters in the event and will ask people to self-certify that they have not been in contact with anyone infected person hanging around the event.

Vivo is the only Chinese brand that has decided to fully exit from the exhibition. In a statement shared with us, the company has confirmed that this will delay the induction of its Apex 2020 concept phone, which it originally wanted to show during. Vivo says it’ll still showcase the device.

TCL has also confirmed it will cancel its big MWC press conference which was initially scheduled for February 22. The Company will announce its latest mobile devices and showcase them at Hall 3, Stand 3D11 from 24-27 February
