US consider to ban Chinese social media apps including TikTok: Report

The sources familiar with Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said the United State of America considering to ban permanently at all Chinese Social media apps including TikTok.

The Pompeo said in an inverview with Fox News. US lawmakers have raised voices over security concern over TikTok’ handling of user data saying they are worried about Chinese laws requiring domestic companies are controlled by the Chinese Communist Party.

India is one only country had blocked 59 Chinese apps including TiKTok in India on last week June 29. The App which is not available in the China itself where as all social media apps like Facebook, Google, Instagram and Snapchat are banned in China itself.

If this move taken by US in all US among status then it will give a strong move against china in wining over Digital Strike. Pompeo’s remarks also come amid increasing US- China tensions over the handling of the coronavirus outbreak, China’s recent actions against in Hong Kong nearly two year- trade war.

TikTok, a short-form video app owned by China based firm ByteDance was recently banned in China along with 58 other Chinese apps after a borde clash between India and China.
