Microsoft released Windows 11 through Win 10 OOBE

Microsoft released Windows 11 to Windows 10 eligible PCS through OOBE (initial setup experience). The Win 11 will run on minimum requirements via Health Check App.

Microsoft Windows 11 Update Assistant is not supported on ARM CPUs, ISO generated using Media Creation Tool. AMD company confirmed the performance drop issue seen in most machines with Ryzen processors after upgrading to Windows 11 OS.

Microsoft and AMD both are coming on a fix that will be released in the coming week to fix this problem. Another report said that Windows 10 users had trouble in upgrade installing the upgrade of Windows 11.

Windows latest blog has reported, Microsoft start pushing the Windows 11 update during OOBE (initial setup experience) on all products like Surface Pro X, Surface Pro 8 series, and Windows 10 version 2004 or later.

Windows 11 new requirements on ARM PCs

  • Install on new Operating System on ARM PCs – Insider Program
  • OOBE ( Requires a rest to install a clearn Windows 11)

The OOBE experience will be downloaded as a cumulative update as “Upgrade the Windows 11 experience” from the desktop.

The OOBE update will include KB5005716 patch updates during the Windows 10 process.
