Xiaomi explains Why Mi 10T Series has 144Hz LCD display over AMOLED display

Xiaomi India announced the Mi 10T Series in India in the under 40,000k price segment which seems to be a downgrade over Mi 10 flagship launched in early 2020 in India with an AMOLED display.

The controversial rises in many Xiaomi fans, Tech Enthusiasts Xiaomi used LCD display with a 144Hz refresh rate in Mi 10T Series. The Mi 10T series launched first in Malaysia at a price of INR 32,000k but in India, it directly competes with major players like

  • iQOO 3 4G, 5G priced at INR 28K-38K AMOLED
  • Apple SE 2020 down to INR 26k – 36k LCD
  • OnePlus 8 Series & 8T Series INR 39k – 40K
  • Vivo X50 SD 730G Amoled at INR 35K

Xiaomi used a high-quality LCD display features 144HZ Adaptive Sync Display But people will prefer AMOLED 90Hz in premium flagship models.

LCD still being used in Xioami mid-range devices while heavy bloated MIUI based on Android OS has ads and data privacy issues. Recently, MIUI default weather apps couldn’t able to find Arunachal Pradesh status.
